Intermediate Pointe Summer Intensive

For Dancers Placed in Ballet 5 for Fall 2019
new students call studio concerning placement

School of MFB's Intermediate Pointe Summer Intensive is a four week intensive dance experience designed for development of beginning pointe students’ technique.

CLASSES INCLUDE:

*Students that have been asked to start en pointe in the fall of 2018 are strongly encouraged to attend. The lack of school-year stresses allows the time, focus, and repetition necessary to give the students the best start possible to dancing en pointe. They will be taught how to correctly sew elastic and ribbon onto shoes, how to tie their ribbons, and begin various strengthening and articulation exercises for the ankles and feet. It's strong, foundational work that will benefit the dancers throughout their dancing careers, not just in the fall.
