Elementary to Intermediate

Midland Festival Ballet will offer a moving experience for elementary to intermediate students. Dancers enrolled will participate in three hours of dance each day. Students will strengthen their fundamental ballet technique, learn different stretch and strengthening exercises, and enjoy learning steps from classic ballets in Elementary Repertoire.

Intermediate to Advanced

Wednesday, June 6 - Tuesday, July 3

Midland Festival Ballet will offer a four-week intensive dance experience for intermediate to advanced level dancers. Students that are asked to start en pointe in the fall are strongly encouraged to attend. Students will participate in approximately six hours of dancing each day. Dancers attending the complete four week program will prepare and present an in-studio performance on the final day, Thursday, June 30, at 7:30PM.

We want to explore the beauty of dance with any and all interested individuals, and allow the Permian Basin to share in the rich traditions of dance that we value.

To the Students

Daily classes will include ballet, pointe, pirouette, batterie, pilates, and variations from professional repertoire. Some weeks will also offer a style class in either character, contemporary, or jazz. Faculty will be headed up by Susan Clark former principal dancer with Atlanta Ballet and Milwaukee Ballet. Guest Faculty to be announced. No matter what your personnel destiny with ballet may be, you are a link between this generation and the next. Regardless of your ability or level you will be challenged and inspired by this rich dance experience.
